Become a Friend of the Kankakee Public Library. Benefits of membership include: an opportunity to serve our Library and City, meet people with similar interests and to attend special Friends programs and events. Also, you will be entitled to vote on Friends issues.

Help us expand opportunity in our community by helping the Library expand and enhance its programs.

The purpose of the Friends of the Kankakee Public Library:

- Serve as hosts and hostesses for Library and Friends events
- Present programs related to individuals' hobbies and interests
- Encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests to the Library
- Seek financial support for the work of the Library
- Attend special Friends events
- Encourage use of the Library's resources
- Support Library legislation
