The library closes at noon on the Saturday of Merchant Street MusicFest.
As early as possible, local radio stations and the Library's Facebook page
will announce any additional days the Library will be closed.

Parking is available in the Kankakee Public Library main parking lot, located on Merchant Street. There is parking across the street in the Farmers' Market Lot as well. We also encourage green transportation. Library guests are encouraged to carpool, use public transportation, bike, or walk to the Library. Bike racks are available along Schuyler Avenue; bring your own lock.
